Stayed overnight at Rasa Sentosa Resort the past weekend.
It was okay.
First time there.
I still prefer Siloso Beach Resort.
Stayed there thrice.
Miss the open air private roof top garden including bathtub with jacuzzi and the breakfast venue at the top level (open air, overlooking the beachfront).

Spent two hours in the toilet this morning, reading 'I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere' and finally finished it.
It was okay.
The book was divided into two parts.
The first was a collection of stories under 'I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere' ,
while the second part was a story of its own, 'Someone I Loved'.
It was translated from its original french copy, so there were times when I was confused with the 'English accent' and stuff...
Won't go into details, you can Google it if you want.
I'm giving it a 3*-3.5* rating because the stories do not 'touch' me much. I wasn't moved to tears and barely laughed.
I like the style of writing, though. Limited flowery language, a lot of dialogues, honest & straight-to-the-point. Modern, if you must.
Yup, gonna move on to other books now...

After sending my Mac to Sapura @ Funan (apparently there's nth wrg w it so hadta lug th heavy thng ard town =.=), we first went to:
1) Sembawang Music Store @ Funan
then on the way to Citylink, we stopped at
2) Gramophone @ Peninsular Plaza
finally to
3) HMV Citylink
followed by
4) Sembawang again @ RafflesCity.
ohmygawwwwd.
damnn tired can. each store spend >1h.

at least dad bought for me Jane Eyre DVD @ Sembawang (Funan) and 2 books @ HMV Citylink.
Didn know that they have books at HMV...
Was walking around when I noticed a sole book rack in the middle...obviously, it attracted me to it. =.=
randomly picked up 'Never Hit a Jellyfish with a Spade' by Guy Browning. Nvr heard of th title nor th author. ><>
Opened up to a random page and since then, my hand never stopped flipping the pages. I was biting my lips to stop myself from bursting with laughter and embarrass myself in public.
The books were on sale. Any 2 for $18. That's like soo damnn cheap cann. I KNEW I GOTTA HAVE IT. :O
So then I started picking up the other books on the rack and read a few lines to see if it interests me.
Was in a dilemma for a while. Gotta admit that I was tempted to buy 4 books.
Finally settled on 'The Diary of Anne Frank'. Heard so much about it, might as well read it once and for all.
Felt a bit like a nerd actually, rooting around for books in the middle of an "international entertainment retail chain" with blasting music around me.
Oh well, who cares? %)
@ 6pm we left for Vivo...where we met my mum.
Dined at Garuda Padang Cuisine (first time there, will definitely come back again :D)
Wanted to go home straight actually...
Luckily we came to our senses. C'mon lah, since we're (still) out might as well SHOP (more)!
So...went to Singtel.
I recontract my plan(?) and got myself an LG Viewty in baby p!nk for $48 (u.p. $419).
Not bad luh...so far. ><
Mainly bought for the camera functions.
Hope it's up to my expectations...

Finally got my Vanilla Frappuccino with Java Chips @ Starbucks, just opposite Singtel.
The only thing I paid for.

Later went to Celia Loe boutique & bought 4 tops.

Had fun the past few days...
Maybe the holidays aren't so vad after all.

Sat went to IMM w my parentals to meet some family friends.
We had 3 meals in a row luh ohmygawd.
For me:
Main course + ice-cream @ Swensen's,
Ah Mei Iced Milk Tea @ Bagus(Banquet) &
BBQd Cuttlefish(my fav!) & Lemongrass Drink @ BaliThai (or some ppl pronounce it as 'TaliBai' =.= ).
Whoa...damnn full cann.
Wanted to look for my Gisele Bundchen's Ipanema Sandals but the ones at Royal Sporting House doesn't have my size nor the design that I want. Haiz.
I bought 4 tops, a hairband and a handbag to "make up for it". @.@
Yea that's it for Sat...
Oh!Oh! in the morning, just after my religious class (at home) I barfed up in front of my teacher while she was eating muffins. Freakingg ystd's noodles. ><

The former was fine, but the latter sux!
srsly. but i still love FH nonetheless. ><

I may plan ahead for something but when the time comes,
my 'current mood' will determine my next step.
People have been affected by this (negatively of course) and
I'm sorry.
I will keep this (attitude?) problem of mine in mind and will consciously try to avoid it,
hurt less people.

Barney & Hulk F.T.W!

NEEDLESS to say (though I'll say it anyway =.=),
today was a muchh better day then yesterday.

Initially I thought I was off on a bad start.
The elevators broke down when I was going to school.
A man was trapped inside.
So I had to use the staircase instead from the 11th floor.
& my block is under construction so the staircase area is damnn dark luhh.
~
In school. CSM. Supposed to present Sam.
UNFORTUNATELY,
I was among the second half of the class.
So I would only present after the term break,
& I'M SUPPOSED TO PRESENT MY HML TMR.
WUDDEHELL.
Have not even decide on which show to use lah.
epic phail can.
~
Off to Chinese class for CA1 ORAL immediately after class ended.
Was quite nervous lah.
Since I took chinese before and so far we've only been through the basic stuff ,
I was quite complacent lah hah.
Was 'haojiu bu jian'-ing in my mind.
=.=
made some friends while waiting outside the class for my turn. hah. lol.
Was ok luhh.
ok, no, better than ok.
I'm expecting an A or a B at least.
yeaa.

Met MICH(hah!~) at Food Haven corner afterwards.
Bought my second beverage and waffles (2 days in a row! ><).
Then home I went.
~
Was reaching the lift landing when I saw a couple of my neighbours.
So I went to them and salam (shook hands the Muslim way as a sign of respect for a person older than you) them.
Later, the lady said that she thought I was a Chinese girl from the 6th level.
hah. im my mind I thought...
"the girl must be fat".
if u noe wad i mean...

Now I'm gonna crack my head and crap a story/character out for HML tmr.

Damn it I'm so tired I could faint.

Rushed through DT.
Presentation like crap (for my part at least).
Since we're the last group, everyone was dead by then.
IVP. Felt nauseous halfway through.
No idea why.
I could imagine myself barfing up in the ladies.
Not a pretty sight.
So I downed half a chocolate waffle and strained to keep my heavy eyelids up.

Best parts(surprisingly plural) of the day:
1) Before school. Had DT discussion with Mich & Lea. No, that's not actually the best part. Cause' I found out that I've been researching the wrong thing. The best part was I have now found a sanctuary in the school. Just like my beloved blue table back in CTSS. I no longer wonder where the hell did people buy those drinks from.
2) In the library during lunch. Spent a great part laughing like mad for no apparent reason in the QUIET ZONE with Mich. Yes, get lost Sam.

Been sleeping for <4hrs each night.
I want my Gisele Bündchen Ipanema sandals and
I WANT IT NOW.

Have a good restoftheweek peeps.
